Summary
Burgess Recruitment is currently seeking a Galley Assistant to join a 100m+ Private motor yacht.
This position requires a hardworking, hands-on team player with strong organisational skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to support a high-functioning galley team on a busy program. Candidates with strong restaurant backgrounds looking to transition into the yachting industry will also be considered.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role onboard large yachts or in a high-end restaurant environment
- Strong culinary foundation with the ability to support daily prep, cleanliness, and galley organisation
- Ship’s Cook Certificate beneficial
- Up-to-date STCW, ENG1, and all required maritime certificates
- Two written references
- Professional, motivated, and eager to learn
- Team-oriented mindset with excellent communication skills
Start: Late December
Salary: EUR 3,400 per month
Leave: 3:1 rotation
Location: Germany
