Summary
We’re seeking an experienced and polished Captain for a foreign-flagged 110’ Riva, privately owned and based in South Florida. This vessel operates primarily as a day boat for the owner, offering a steady, low-stress program with a hands-on and supportive ownership style.
The yacht is Cayman Island flagged and is currently coming out of a yard period, so we’re looking for a captain who can step in immediately, take ownership of final punch-list items, and ensure a smooth transition into regular operations.
Position Overview
- Full-time Captain for a private 110’ Riva
- South Florida–based with mostly day usage
- Start date: ASAP
- Foreign flagged (Cayman Islands)
- Vessel finishing a yard period — ideal candidate is confident with yard close-outs, scheduling, and preventative maintenance
Ideal Candidate
- Strong command experience on similar-sized vessels (90'–130’)
- Flexible, calm, and owner-focused demeanor
- Solid knowledge of South Florida cruising grounds
- Strong maintenance, budgeting, and vendor-management skills
- Ability to run a small team and maintain high standards onboard
Requirements
- Valid Cayman-accepted Master’s license
- STCW + ENG1

- South Florida–based or willing to relocate
