Burgess recruitment is currently seeking an experienced Second Engineer for a 75m+ yacht
We are looking for an experienced and career focused 2nd Engineer to join a prestigious private & charter motor yacht. The ideal candidate will have a background in yachting and be familiar with the demands of working on a similar-sized vessel. This is a great opportunity to learn and develop in a supportive environment.
Requirements & Responsibilities
· III/2 Unlimited
· Could also consider III/3 with an Approved Engine Manufacturer’s Course appropriate to Engine Type and Power range
· All certifications up to date
· Strong mechanical experience
· Previous yachting experience on a similar-sized vessel is required.
· Maintenance, and repair of the yacht's engineering systems
· Be hands-on and willing to assist in various areas as needed.
· Maintain yacht to the highest standards, complying with safety regulations.
· Quickly adapt and learn new systems and procedures
· Work closely with the Chief Engineer and other crew to ensure smooth operation
