Burgess Recruitment is currently seeking a 3rd Engineer for a 100m+ Private Yacht
This is a great opportunity for an experienced 3rd Engineer to join a prestigious vessel with an exciting itinerary. The ideal candidate will have proven experience on large vessels.
Requirements
- EOOW Unlimited essential- Second Engineer Unlimited preferred
- Minimum 2 years’ experience as 3rd Engineer on yachts
- Strong technical knowledge and hands-on maintenance capability
Responsibilities
- Report directly to the Chief Engineer
- Operation and upkeep of vessel systems including:
- IDEA Planned Maintenance System
- Firefighting systems & fixed safety installations
- Hydraulic equipment, cranes, and refuelling systems (tenders & helicopter)
- Sewage, galley, laundry, garbage, and hotel systems
- Pools, Jacuzzis, sauna, and hammam maintenance
- Tenders, jet skis, and other water toys
- EOOW watchkeeping duties
- Assist Second Engineer in daily maintenance and troubleshooting
- Support with loading, handling, and stowage of stores and garbage management
- Maintain high standards of hospitality and vessel presentation
Start date: Early December
Location: Middle East
Salary: EUR DOE
Leave: 10:10 rotation
Itinerary and vessel- Private vessel with world cruising- Mediterranean, Middle East & Indian Ocean
