About the Role
We’re seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Charter Management Assistant to support a growing fleet of charter yachts. This junior-level position is ideal for a former charter crew member transitioning ashore or a current assistant looking for advancement. The role involves supporting the Charter Manager with fleet coordination, listings, and marketing initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate listings, charter rates, and availability calendars across industry platforms and the company website.
- Liaise with captains, owners, and crew to update marketing materials, itineraries, and bios.
- Support brokers by managing inquiries, distributing yacht information, and collecting post-charter feedback.
- Assist with MYBA contracts, proposals, and general documentation.
- Log payments and assist with basic charter accounting tasks.
- Collaborate with the marketing team on e-blasts, campaigns, and listing updates.
- Stay current on competitor listings, new builds, and regional trends.
Qualifications
- Experience in yachting, hospitality, or charter operations preferred (former crew encouraged).
- Strong communication, writing, and organizational skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office; familiarity with MYBA, YachtFolio, or Charter Index a plus.
- Fluent in English; Spanish fluency a strong advantage.
- Authorized to work in the U.S. and able to travel internationally.
