ETO NEEDED FOR AN 80m+ NEW BUILD MOTOR YACHT

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Electro-Technical Officer (ETO) to join the build project of a new 80m+ motor yacht, set for launch in late 2026
Reporting directly to the Chief Engineer, the ETO will be responsible for the maintenance, troubleshooting, and safe operation of all electrical and electronic systems onboard. Key duties include maintaining and testing all power generation and distribution systems, navigation and communication systems (GMDSS), control and automation systems, as well as lighting, alarms, and monitoring systems. The ideal candidate will be skilled in Electronic Navigation Equipment Maintenance (ENEM) and GMDSS maintenance, ensuring compliance with all relevant safety procedures, technical standards, and manufacturer guidelines. The ETO will also support the Chief Engineer in the day-to-day operation and upkeep of all vessel machinery and electrical systems throughout the build stage.
Applicants should have a minimum of three years’ sea-going experience as an Electrician or ETO on yachts or vessels 85 meters or larger.
REQUIREMENTS FOR APPLICATION:
- RIII/6 Electro-Technical Officer (ETO) Preferred but not essential
- STCW/ENG1
- PSSR
- PDSD
- Must be Covid Vaccinated
- Willingness to undergo medical screening (TB test)
- Minimum of three years’ sea-going experience as an Electrician or ETO on yachts or vessels 85 meters or larger.
- Excellent References are needed
- EU Passport is needed due to extended months in Europe during the build
PACKAGE:
- 7000 euro per month
- 45 days leave per year. The position will turn rotational once the vessel is in operation or perhaps before. 10:10
