1st Engineer

Summary

ROTATIONAL 1st ENGINEER NEEDED ON A 100m+ MY (Private) 

Start Date: ASAP

Schedule: Med-based 

An established 120m+ private motor yacht is seeking an experienced 1st Engineer to join their team. 

More details will be provided at interview stage

REQUIREMENTS FOR APPLICATION 

-        COC STCW A-III/2 (Chief Engineer COC preferred).

-        Minimum 3+ years’ experience as 1st Engineer on board 100m+ yachts.

-        Strong knowledge of ISM systems.

-        Experience with MTU 1163 & MTU 12V 4000 engines highly preferred.

-        Fully vaccinated against COVID-19, including booster shot

-        Willingness to undergo medical screening (TB test)

-        Available from early October for handover

-        Excellent references are needed 

PACKAGE

-        Permanent, rotational (10 weeks on / 10 weeks off)

-        Salary: €8000 per month

-        Rotational (10 weeks on / 10 weeks off)

Essential Qualifications

Entry Level Qualifications (or equivalent)

• STCW 95 (STCW 2010)
• ENG 1 (Medical Certificate)

Engineering Qualifications (or Merchant, USCG & AMSA equivalent)

• RIII/2 Y1 Chief Engineer (<3000gt <9000kW)/ Chief Engineer (SV) (<3000gt <9000kW)
