Summary

Burgess recruitment is currently seeking a 2nd Engineer for a 60m+ yacht  

  

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated 2nd Engineer to join a great team on a private charter vessel.   

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is looking to commit long-term and further their career in the maritime industry.  

Looking for a hands on engineer with AVIT skills 

  

Requirements  

  

EOOW III/1 or a Y3 as a minimum.        

B1B2 a plus

2 years proven experience on a similar-sized vessel  

Shipyard experience beneficial  

Strong commitment to safety and maintenance protocols  

Ability to work effectively as part of a dynamic team  

AVIT skills and knowledge a big plus

Commercial background beneficial

  

Start date: Mid December

Location: Caribbean

Salary: EUR 6750

Leave: 2:2 rotation

  

Private and charter with dual season

Essential Qualifications

Engineering Qualifications (or Merchant, USCG & AMSA equivalent)

• RIII/3 Y3 Chief Engineer (<500gt <3000kW)/ Chief Engineer (SV) (<500gt 3000kW)
• RIII/1 Engineer Officer of the Watch (Unlimited)
