We are seeking an experienced and professional couple to join the brand-new SY Leian III, a Fountaine Pajot Samana 59 sailing catamaran (delivery April 2026). This is a long-term, private program with a planned 5-year circumnavigation, beginning with an Atlantic crossing in November 2026.We are seeking a non-smoking, preferably native English-speaking couple with a positive attitude, who are self-sufficient, adaptable, and discreet.
Position 1: Captain / Engineer
Requirements:
- RYA Yachtmaster Offshore (minimum), ENG1, STCW.
- Valid GMDSS certification
- Proven experience with ocean crossings / bluewater cruising
- Strong engineering and maintenance knowledge: AEC 1 & 2 desired
- Confident in full yacht operations, safety, and navigation
Position 2: Stewardess / Cook / Deckhand
Responsibilities:
- Housekeeping and light interior care
- Cooking for 2–6 guests (healthy, family-style meals)
- Assisting on deck with sailing, mooring, and tender ops
- Comfortable in remote cruising and informal settings
Requirements: STCW, ENG1, FHL2
Contract & Package:
- Start Date: Flexible, based on final build schedule (targeting early/mid-2026)
- Use: Private (no charter)
- Guests: 2 owners + occasional family/friends (max 6 total)
- Flag: Marshall Islands
- Itinerary: Global circumnavigation (Caribbean, Pacific, Asia, Med, etc.)
- Leave: To be discussed – flexible for the right couple
- Flights: 1–2 return flights per crew member per year
- 13th month bonus offered after 1 year of employment
- Salary: Competitive, based on experience (combined €7,000–€10,000/month typical range)
