We are seeking an experienced and hands-on Captain to lead a privately operated 100ft+ sailing yacht. The yacht runs with 4 full-time crew, increasing to 7 for long passages, and accommodates 2–6 guests for around four trips per year.
Recent cruising areas include Alaska, Iceland, New Zealand, and the Galápagos, with upcoming itineraries in the Baltic, Mediterranean, and Caribbean. The role requires strong seamanship, technical knowledge, and leadership.
You’ll work closely with the owners and existing team to manage safe operations, maintenance, and budgets. A proper handover with the current Captain will ensure a smooth transition.
Requirements: Proven experience as Captain on large sailing yachts, excellent leadership and organizational skills, solid engineering understanding, and a proactive, professional attitude.
