We are looking for an experienced couple to join a 24m private/charter sailing yacht as Captain/Engineer and Deck/Steward(ess)/Cook. This is a long-term program with an exciting sailing schedule and a family-oriented environment.
Captain/Engineer – Experienced in running sailing yachts of a similar size (minimum First Mate level). Strong sailing background; MCA qualified. Yachtmaster Ocean (Commercially Endorsed) and AEC 2 required. Solid engineering and troubleshooting skills, able to work independently. Passionate sailor who enjoys hands-on sailing and leading small teams.
Deck/Steward(ess)/Cook – Professionally trained chef with diverse culinary skills and excellent presentation. Experience running charters and maintaining a high standard of guest service. Flexible, organized, and able to multitask under pressure. Bookkeeping and provisioning experience is a plus. Sailing experience as deckhand required. Culinary training and STCW/ENG1 required. Driving license and diving qualification preferred.
Program & Itinerary – 2026: Newport–Bermuda race, followed by an Atlantic crossing back to the Mediterranean. Light summer cruising around the Balearic Islands and maintenance period at the Badalona shipyard. 2027: Plan to participate in Naples for the America’s Cup and selected Mediterranean regattas. Approx. 4–6 weeks of charter per year (maximum 6 guests). Winter base: Palma de Mallorca — live aboard not required if the couple is based locally

The Owners & Crew – Family-owned yacht (two adults and two teenagers). Relaxed, professional, and passionate sailing program with long-term vision (10–12 years). Crew: 2 permanent (Captain/Engineer & Deck/Stew/Cook) + 1 seasonal deckhand during charters.
Salaries – Captain/Engineer: €6,000–€7,000/month. Deck/Stew/Cook: €4,000–€4,500/month. Leave and other details to be discussed during interviews.
