The Candidate Specification
We're looking for a motivated and hands-on 2nd Officer to join an 80M+ private yacht. This role is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Bosun ready to step up, or a qualified Junior Officer eager to gain experience on a larger vessel and develop under a strong, structured deck department.
The ideal candidate will be confident in watchkeeping duties, safety procedures, and bridge operations, with a solid understanding of ISM and ISPS systems. A proactive attitude, teamwork, and a willingness to learn are key, this is a great stepping-stone role for someone looking to grow within a professional, well-managed programme.
- Required experience: Previous experience as Bosun or Junior Officer on vessels 60M+
- Qualification: STCW, ENG1, CoC OOW, GMDSS,ECDIS
- Required Visa: Schengen Visa (if applicable)
