The Candidate Specification
We are seeking a motivated and professional Deck/Dive Instructor to join a 100M+ private yacht. The role is approximately 80% deck duties and 20% dive instruction, so candidates must hold a valid Dive Instructor certification. The ideal candidate will be confident in general deck operations, including maintenance, tender handling, and watersports, while also leading and supervising dive excursions safely and effectively.
The yacht is currently in dry dock, providing time to familiarise yourself with the vessel and team before active cruising resumes. The role suits someone energetic, reliable, and able to work independently, with excellent communication skills and a passion for both diving and deck operations.
- Required experience: Dive instructor experience plus prior deck/yacht experience
- Qualification: STCW, ENG1, Dive Instructor certification
- Required Visa: Schengen visa (if applicable)
