We’re looking for a creative and passionate Sous Chef to join a 60m private and charter yacht with a busy Caribbean season ahead. The boat is currently heading to the Bahamas for a boss trip and will cruise through to St Maarten for a November charter.
Crew food is a key focus onboard – no set menus, no repetition. The crew love to eat well, so we need someone who enjoys cooking fresh, healthy, protein-heavy dishes that keep things exciting. There’s one pescatarian onboard.
The galley runs at pace – the boss enjoys simple, hearty meals (think steak, chicken, mash, creamed corn) and the kids love getting involved with pizza nights. Pastry skills aren’t essential but a willingness to assist with guest food is appreciated.
You’ll join a fun, close-knit multinational crew with a big Caribbean influence. The crew mess is lively, the energy is great, and tips are excellent.
The ideal candidate:
- Holds a B1/B2 visa (non-negotiable)
- Female (shared cabin)
- Confident with varied crew food
- Restaurant background preferred
