Seeking an experienced and creative Sous Chef / 2nd Chef to join a 60m private m/y currently based in Miami. This is an excellent opportunity to join a professional and active program with great longevity and crew culture.
- Itinerary: Winters in South Florida and The Bahamas; Summers along the U.S. East Coast and Canada
- Starting ASAP in Miami
- B1/B2 visa essential
- Open to flying in international candidates
Responsibilities
- Assist the Head Chef with daily meal preparation and service for guests and crew
- Maintain high culinary standards and presentation for all onboard dining
- Contribute to provisioning, menu planning, and galley organization
- Ensure galley cleanliness, hygiene, and safety at all times
- Provide coverage in the Head Chef’s absence when required
Requirements
- Previous experience as Sous Chef or Sole Chef on yachts or in high-end hospitality
- Strong culinary background with versatility in global cuisines
- Team player with excellent communication and time management skills
- Valid B1/B2 visa and STCW
- Positive attitude and willingness to assist where needed
Package
- 60 days of paid vacation per year
