Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Chef for a 50-meter motor yacht, available immediately. This position involves a 3:1 rotation schedule, providing a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic and luxurious environment while delivering exceptional culinary experiences.

Key Responsibilities

  • Menu Creation: Design and execute innovative, seasonal menus tailored to guests’ preferences, with a strong emphasis on kosher cuisine.
  • Kosher Compliance: Ensure all food preparation and serving adheres to kosher dietary laws and practices.
  • Food Management: Oversee all aspects of food inventory, procurement, and storage, maintaining high standards of hygiene and safety.
  • Guest Interaction: Engage with guests to understand their culinary preferences and dietary restrictions, ensuring a personalized dining experience.
  • Catering Events: Plan and prepare for special events and occasions on board, including themed dinners and parties.

Qualifications

  • Culinary Certification: Valid culinary school diploma or equivalent professional training.
  • Licenses: Valid STCW (Standards of Training, Certification, and Watchkeeping for Seafarers) certification and Food Safety & Hygiene certification.
  • Kosher Experience: Proven experience working in a kosher kitchen, with in-depth knowledge of kosher food preparation, ingredients, and regulations.
  • Yacht Experience: Previous experience as a Head Chef on yachts or in high-end hospitality settings is preferred.
  • Culinary Skills: Strong cooking skills, creativity, and a passion for food, with the ability to adapt to various culinary styles and preferences.
  • Visa: B1/B2 visa required if not a US Citizen or Green card Holder.
