Summary
We are looking for a experienced Hairdresser/HK Steward/ess with preferrable 1 year serving as such on a yacht, for this prestigious and well-established 100m+ Private MY.
Our ideal candidate has a strong background as a Hairdresser, knowledgeable in many hairdos, stylings, cuts, colouring and men cuts, confident and skilled in all HK aspects including cleaning and maintenance and has an excellent eye for details. Detail orientated and being pro-active, you will see a job through and prioritise effectively to ensure the highest standards are met. This role is a mix of Salon work and housekeeping.
Many of the crew onboard has worked for the owner for a long time, so crew retention is HIGH...
This will be a continual / annual season MY with an experienced and adventurous owner, happy to take their yacht off the beaten track but also equally happy to dock in big cities that allows exploration, so this role is not for the faint hearted, we need a hardworking and enthusiastic candidate that loves to create and provide great experiences for the owner and his guests.
The owning family are interactive with the crew so this role suits someone who is social but always being professional. This role will best suit a candidate who would like to be part of an exceptional crew that have worked for the owner for many years, an adventurous character that would like to travel to amazing destinations and who loves her chosen profession, an easy-going, friendly and caring candidate that works hard with a smile on her face.

About the program: Dual Season MED/CAR
Required Documents/Certificates: STCW, ENG1, Food & Hygiene Level 2, PDSD, Hairdresser qualifications, B1B2 in hand preferred.
Requirements for application: Very strong Hairdressing skills and experience in working as a Hairdresser, mostly up-dos and styling for ladies and men’s cuts, 1+ years’ experience as a Housekeeping steward/ess preferred, great communicator, good verifiable references.
