Summary
We are looking for an experienced Chief steward/ess for a 70m+ Private MY, with a minimum of 5 years, serving as such, on 60m+ MY´s.
Our ideal candidate is organized, a great communicator with excellent problem-solving skills, a calm demeanour, resourceful, capable of thinking “outside the box,” switched-on and observant. A down-to-earth, level-headed candidate, full of energy and with a great sense of humour.
We are searching for a candidate who is confident in all aspects of the interior with strong knowledge of HoH and Service, great at leading from the front and motivating her team of 8, in a positive, calm and encouraging manner. Enthusiastic about her job and able to ´take things as they come” and make good decisions on her feet. Hands-on leader who is willing to assist wherever needed.
A candidate that is confident in interacting with guests of all levels, has excellent service skills and a confident refinement in the service they provide, an ability to “read the room.” Detail orientated and pro-active, you will see a job through and prioritise effectively to ensure the highest standards are met.
Strong service and cocktail knowledge are essential.
It is important for our candidate to have a good sense of humour, a positive, upbeat, and outgoing personality, and to be patient, tolerant and resourceful.
Many of the crew onboard has worked for the owner for a long time, so crew retention is HIGH.

Required Documents/Certificates: STCW, ENG1, PDSD, Food & Hygiene Level 2, other certificates are a bonus.
Requirements for application: Min 5 years’ experience as Chief Steward/ess on a 60m+ MY with proven longevity, strong service and cocktail knowledge, great organizational skills, great communicator and listener, good verifiable references. Confident and skilled.
