Chief Officer/1st Mate in France

Summary

• 45m Private/Charter single season Motor yacht are looking for a Chief officer to join them from October onwards - there is a degree of flexibility on start date for the right candidate

• OOW 3000 required as minimum 

• Well run, very busy yacht with extensive owner and charter usage across a single Med season along with lots of time off in the Winter

• Home port in South of France over the Winter working Mon-Fri, 9-5pm – this would work well for a SOF based candidate or someone looking to get their Chief mate completed over the Winter period! Happy to consider 2nd officers looking to make a step up the ladder.

• Good captain, well established deck team. They need a good leader and someone who is hands on with deck operations as well as being a good navigator, comfortable holding your own navigational watch and organised/diligent with bridge admin and paperwork!

• Supportive Captain who is also happy to give drive time and looking to take on more responsibility during the Winter months!

• They will be back in home port by October and entering a yard period early 2026 to get the boat ready for the next Med season

• On offer is a salary of 7500 Euros, 60 days leave, split of tips from any charters – full package TBD during initial calls

Essential Qualifications

Master/Skipper Qualifications (or Merchant, USCG & AMSA equivalent)
