The Candidate Specification
We are looking for an experienced and motivated Bosun with proven leadership skills and the ability to run a deck team successfully. The ideal candidate will have a Yachtmaster in hand, solid deck experience, and a genuine passion for watersports. A "waterman" at heart, you will thrive in an environment that makes the most of toys, tenders, and activities on the water. This role would suit someone looking to step up towards an officer pathway in the future, with the right mix of ambition, drive, and maturity. The successful candidate will be hands-on, approachable, and able to inspire their team while maintaining a strong focus on safety and standards.
As Bosun, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations on deck, overseeing maintenance, tender driving, watersports setup, and ensuring the team is working efficiently and effectively. You will act as the link between the deck crew and senior officers, managing daily job lists and supporting the crew in delivering a first-class guest experience. Strong leadership and organisational skills are key, alongside an energetic and proactive approach to life on deck.
