Summary
We are currently seeking a Permanent Captain to join a 40m+ Single Season Private Motor Yacht.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the overall operation and safety of the vessel, ensuring a seamless experience for guests while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and safety onboard. Your duties will include overseeing navigation, crew management, compliance with maritime regulations, and ensuring the smooth operation of all yacht activities. The ideal candidate will possess proven leadership skills, strong technical knowledge, and prior experience commanding vessels within the 41m - 45m range. This role demands a proactive individual capable of managing operational and safety protocols efficiently in a dynamic environment.
Candidate requirements:
- Master 500GT or Higher
- Valid STCW and ENG1
- Previous experience as a Captain on similar-sized Motor Yachts (35m – 45m)
- Strong knowledge of maritime safety and operational procedures
- Excellent leadership and team management skills
- Fluent English communication skills
- Ability to work independently and adapt to varying operational requirements
- Experience working in European waters is preferred
- Strong deck maintenance knowledge
Package:
- Salary: €9,000 - 12,000 pcm DOE
- Leave: 5 days paid leave per month - (60 days paid per year)
- Itinerary: Mediterranean
