Summary
We are currently seeking a Permanent Deckhand to join a 50m+ Private/Charter Motor Yacht.
The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with the overall maintenance, safety, and operational readiness of the vessel, ensuring optimal service and safety standards are maintained at all times. This role requires a proactive individual who is eager to contribute to a high-end yachting environment, providing support to the crew and exceptional service to guests during charters. A solid water sports background and team player attitude is needed as the current deck crew are a close knit team. The vessel is a single season vessel that is extremely busy during the Med season.
Candidate requirements:
- Valid STCW and ENG1
- Powerboat lvl 2.
- Yacht Master Offshore would be a bonus.
- Previous experience as a Deckhand on luxury yachts or similar vessels
- Knowledge of yacht maintenance, safety procedures, and general deck operations
- Strong team player with excellent communication skills
- Proactive attitude with a focus on safety and guest satisfaction
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Package:
- Salary: €3,000 - (Increase after probation period)
- Leave: 5 days paid leave per month (60 days per year)
