· $5500 US / Month DOE + Flights + Perks
A 28m Explora MY is in need of a cook/stew ready to hit the ground running in Europe for an immediate start.
The vessel is used privately only, generally with low guest numbers, with a super friendly team who all pitch to assist to get the job done.
The vessel is generally world cruising and the itinerary after the Med season is TBC
Must be:
- Female due to cabin
- arrangements.
- Naturally clean, tidy,
- organised and with a "keen eye for detail”. Who also cares for their
- personal hygiene & is well presented.
- Cheerful, easy-going, no
- dramas, flexible and a team player. Taking initiative. Able to help out on
- deck if required or a quick study. Experienced in the roles of Chef/Cook,
- Stew & interior housekeeping. Predominately a 70/30 shared role. With
- guests can be more of a 80/20.
- Able to be comfortable handling
- service alone when the stew/deck is unavailable during manoeuvring or
- docking etc.
- Able to hit the ground running,
- think on their feet, and manage their department while keeping the galley
- clean at all times.
- Food & hygiene certificate
- Some Background knowledge in
- cocktail making
- Basic wine knowledge but not
- essential.
- Culinary skills. Flexible with
- last minute food requests.
- No green candidates. Previous
- experience cooking for charter guests
- Appropriate Certifications.
