Position Snapshot

·        $6000 US -$6500 US (DOE & ticket) (can go up)

·        2-3 months of relief captain time

·        Yachtmaster minimum

·        Couple friendly (with stewardess)

A unique opportunity has become available for an experienced and passionate sailor to join a terrific South Pacific Program.

The vessel will sail remote locations and will be available for both private and charter trips.

The owners are passionate sailors and thoroughly enjoy their time onboard, from relaxed  cruising to taking part in the odd regatta.

The crew are encourage to join the family with water activities and the occasional outing, an active crew environment is strongly encouraged onboard

The vessel will bounce between the Islands and also spend time in NZ and Australia.

The 1^st Mate should also be looking to relieve as captain on occasion and would be a terrific transition role to receive both mentorship and training

The Ideal Candidate

·        Passionate sailor

·        Yachtmaster (minimum)

·        Diver certs are a bonus

·        Previous Mate or Bosun time (or captain/ flotilla’s ect)

·        Looking to progress

·        Enjoys off the beaten track locations

·        Longevity in previous roles

·        STCW / Seafare medical

Start: ASAP

Salary:  $6000 US -$6500 US (DOE & ticket) (can go up)

Leave: Standard MLC (no rotation)

Couple Friendly: Yes, with stewardess
