We are looking for a capable and easygoing Relief Captain to join a private yacht delivery from Norway to Barcelona. This is a short-term role ideal for someone looking to gain valuable sea time or support an experienced captain on a scenic route through Europe.
About the Role:
- Assist the current Captain during the delivery passage.
- Act as backup in case of emergency — someone who could take over if needed.
- Male or female candidates welcome.
- This is a supportive, additional crew position — not a full command role.
The current Captain is laid-back, approachable, and happy to welcome either an experienced hand or an up-and-coming captain looking for more time on the water.
Requirements:
- Previous yachting experience in a deck or command role.
- Valid STCW & ENG1 plus Min YM or Master 200 GT. Preferebly Master 500 GT
- Confident, dependable, and calm under pressure.
- Must be available for the full period: 17–27 August (approx.).
