Salary: €4,500/month
Primary Responsibilities:
Yacht Deck (Approx. 60% of Role):
- Lead daily deck operations including cleaning, maintenance, and detailing of exterior surfaces.
- Oversee and perform washdowns, teak care, stainless polishing, and fender/line handling.
- Assist with docking, anchoring, and line handling operations.
- Maintain deck inventories and report any damages or required spares to the Captain.
- Ensure safety standards and practices are followed at all times on deck.
Nimbus Tender Operations (Approx. 40% of Role):
- Serve as primary operator for the 12m Nimbus tender for guest and crew transfers.
- Responsible for tender maintenance: engine checks, cleaning, fueling, and systems upkeep.
- Support interior upkeep and guest comfort when onboard the Nimbus.
- Ensure the tender is always guest-ready and operates smoothly.
Support Duties:
- Support the Captain with general yacht operations and maintenance planning.
- Assist with guest activities, water sports setup, and logistics as required.
- Be flexible and proactive, stepping in across departments when needed (deck/interior/tender).
- Help manage and train junior deck crew if applicable.
Minimum Requirements:
- Valid STCW and ENG1 medical certificate
- Schengen Visa or valid EU Residence Permit
- Minimum of 1 year or 2 full seasons on similar-sized yachts
- Solid experience driving and maintaining tenders (12m or similar). Will have to take the Nimbus from Port Le Trayas to Ibiza
Preferred Qualifications:
- Powerboat Level 2, RYA Yachtmaster, or equivalent certification
- Strong mechanical knowledge of tender systems and small engines
- Watersports and guest service experience a plus
