Start Date: ASAP (2 months prior to final outfitting & delivery)
We are seeking a strong, experienced 2nd Stewardess to join a new build 40m motor yacht with both private and charter use. The successful candidate will play a crucial supporting role to the Chief Stewardess in delivering an exceptional guest experience. This is a hands-on, detail-oriented position suited to someone with a proven track record and a true passion for luxury service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the Chief Stewardess to maintain high interior standards at all times
- Take ownership of housekeeping and laundry operations with precision and care
- Assist in table settings, flower arrangements, turndowns, and detailed cabin presentation
- Support meal and beverage service for both guests and charter clients
- Maintain inventory, provisioning lists, and cleanliness of interior storage
- Help train and mentor junior interior crew if applicable
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Minimum 1–2 years of experience as 2nd Stewardess on 35m+ yachts (or strong seasonal experience on larger vessels)
- Excellent knowledge of high-end housekeeping, laundry care (delicates, pressing, stain removal)
- Comfortable with silver service, cocktail prep, and themed event assistance
- Highly discreet, proactive, and service-focused with strong communication skills
- Team player with a positive, can-do attitude and commitment to maintaining high standards
- Valid STCW, ENG1, and Food & Hygiene Level 2
