Job Vacancy: Chef – 40m New Build Motor Yacht (Private & Charter)

Start Date: 1st June 2025 (2 months prior to final outfitting & delivery)
We are seeking a highly skilled and creative Chef to join a brand-new 40m motor yacht operating under both private and commercial charter use. This is a full-time role offering the great opportunity to shape the onboard culinary experience from day one. The ideal candidate will be passionate about delivering world-class cuisine with versatility and precision.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and execute diverse, high-end menus tailored to guest preferences (Mediterranean, Asian, plant-based, gluten-free, etc.)
- Provisioning and cost-effective stock management in various international ports
- Maintain exceptional hygiene standards and galley organization (HACCP knowledge preferred)
- Prepare meals for guests (and crew when required) at the highest standard during private and charter trips
- Collaborate with the crew to ensure seamless service during busy itineraries
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Proven experience as a sole Chef on yachts 35m+ or in luxury villas/private estates
- Formal culinary training and experience in fine dining, Michelin-level or 5-star establishments
- Strong provisioning knowledge in Europe, the Caribbean, and the US
- Creative, flexible, and highly organized with strong presentation skills
- Professional demeanour with a guest-focused mindset and ability to adapt to dietary needs
- Valid STCW, ENG1, and Food & Hygiene Level 2 (minimum)
