Summary
EDMAR Int. si seeking a dynamic and versatile Stew/Cook to join a private 44m motor yacht under Monaco Flag. This dual-role position requires someone who is confident preparing simple for the crew (up to 8 people) when the chef is not onboard, while also supporting interior duties alongside the chief stewardess. The ideal candidate is flexible, well-organized, and has a positive attitude, with prior yachting experience or strong land-based hospitality skills.
Tasks & Responsibilities
• Prepare light, fresh, and well-balanced meals for the crew when the chef is not onboard.
• Provisioning and stock management of the galley and crew pantry.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the galley at all times.
• Assist with interior duties: cabin service, laundry, table setting, and service.
• Communicate effectively with the captain and team to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Flexibility to adapt between galley and housekeeping/service as needed.
Requirements & Conditons
• Previous experience in a similar role (yachting or private household).
• Strong cooking skills with a focus on Mediterranean, light international cuisine.
• STCW, ENG1 (valid certifications).
• Non-smoker, no visible tattoos, well-presented.
• Fluent in English
• Discreet, professional, and team-oriented.
• Salary: DOE (Depending on Experience)
• Permanent contract rotation 3 month on 1 month off under Monaco flag : European passport or titre de sejour issued (with a proof of home) in the Alps maritime or Imperia will be required
