Summary
For a private M/Y 44m, based in Monaco, EDMAR Int. is seeking a qualified and experienced Chief Stewardess to lead the interior team and ensure the highest level of service is provided to the owners and their guests. This is a role on a private-use vessel, requiring a hands-on, organized, and detail-oriented individual with a strong service background and excellent leadership skills.
Tasks & Responsibilities:
• Oversee and manage all aspects of the yacht’s interior operations
• Lead and train the interior team (2nd Stew & 3rd Stew)
• Deliver impeccable housekeeping, laundry, and guest service
• Liaise closely with the captain and chef to coordinate guest activities and dining
• Maintain inventories and interior provisioning (linen, toiletries, service items, etc.)
• Ensure the interior is always presented to the highest standard
• Provide high-level table service (including table decoration) and cocktail preparation
• Create a warm, professional, and welcoming environment for guests
• Coordinate interior schedules and assist with planning guest trips/events on board
Requirements & conditions
• Minimum 2 years of experience as Chief Stew or in a senior interior role on similar-sized vessels
• Strong background in service, table setting, and housekeeping
• Fluent in English (additional languages are a plus)
• Excellent leadership and team management skills
• Organized, discreet, and polished presentation
• Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure
• Valid STCW, ENG1, and Food Hygiene Level 2
• Positive attitude, energetic and proactive
• Salary: DOE (Depending on Experience) and based on the industry
• Permanent contract rotation 3 month on 1 month off under Monaco flag : European passport or titre de sejour issued (with a proof of home) in the Alps maritime or Imperia will be required
