Summary
For a new build 30m performance sailing yacht, EDMAR Int. is seeking a dynamic and experienced Chef to join the vessel for its first commercial season. This is a seasonal position, with the yacht operating across Northern Europe and the Mediterranean, including destinations such as the Baltic, Norway, Scotland, and the Med.
About the role
The successful candidate will join the yacht at the shipyard and play an active role in the final stages of the build, including the setup of a brand-new galley. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of the launch of a high-performance sailing vessel with a tight-knit crew of 4 where teamwork and versatility are key.
In addition to culinary responsibilities, the Chef is expected to assist with sailing operations, so a background or strong interest in sailing is preferred.
Program Highlights:
• First season of a commercial program
• Mix of private use, charters, deliveries, and potentially regattas or boat shows
• Up to 6 guests on board at a time
Requirements:
• Proven experience as a Chef, ideally on similar-sized vessels
• Sailing background highly desirable
• STCW
• ENG1
• Food Hygiene Certificate
• Seafarer’s Cook Certificate (SCC) – bonus
Package:
• Salary: Up to €5,500/month DOE
• Bonus: Seasonal bonus based on experience and qualifications
• Accommodation: Shared twin en-suite cabin
• Start Date: July to November

The vessel will be commercially registered under the Cook Islands flag, and the seasonal contract will be a Guernsey SEA contract.
