Summary
****** FREE-LANCE ITALIAN CHEF ******
We are looking for a dynamic, discreet freelance chef specialised in Italian cuisine to support a family during their summer stay at their private residence in Beaulieu-sur-Mer, from August 1st to 31st, 2025.
Tasks & Responsibilities :
• Prepare daily meals for the family (lunch and breakfast every day; dinner on request).
• Use fresh, seasonal ingredients, with a focus on fish rather than meat.
• Plan menus weekly in agreement with the family.
• Cook Italian family-style meals (homemade pasta, risottos, fresh salads, etc.).
• Prepare and serve continental breakfasts and fresh fruit daily.
• Be available for barbecues and informal dinners when required.
• Accompany the family on boat outings, with the ability to prepare meals at home and cook onboard when necessary.
• Do grocery shopping – a car will be provided and a food budget will be allocated by the family.
• Cater for 6 to 8 people (occasionally more, when guests are present).
Profile & Conditions :
• Experience as a private chef or in a similar freelance role.
• Specialised in Italian cuisine (no need for Michelin-star or fine dining).
• Non-smoker.
• Flexible and available 7 days a week (possibility to arrange a day off).
• No food allergies.
• Willingness to live in if needed – accommodation can be provided.
• Valid driving licence.
• Friendly, energetic, and respectful of the family’s privacy.
• Could be live-in
