Seeking a local Captain for a permanent position based in Fort Lauderdale managing and operating two private vessels.
The role will involve overseeing the safe operation, maintenance, and overall management of both vessels, with occasional trips to the Bahamas.
This is a hands-on position suited to a Captain who is organized, proactive, and comfortable managing day-to-day vessel operations while maintaining a high standard of care.
Responsibilities
• Safe operation and navigation of both vessels
• Oversee maintenance, servicing, and overall vessel management
• Coordinate scheduling, upkeep, and readiness of both boats
• Ensure vessels are maintained to a high operational and safety standard
Requirements
• Based locally in or near Fort Lauderdale
• Strong mechanical knowledge and hands-on maintenance ability
• Previous Captain experience on similar-sized vessels
• Larger license preferred, as the owner plans to upgrade vessels in the near future
• Professional, reliable, and organized
Compensation
