This is a great opportunity for a Crew Cook / Chef who enjoys a structured environment and preparing quality, healthy meals for a professional crew while the vessel completes maintenance works before the upcoming Mediterranean season.
Position Details
- Vessel: 40m Private Motor Yacht
- Location: Shipyard in Palma de Mallorca
- Start Date: ASAP
- Duration: Temporary / possibility of permanent position. – during shipyard period (potential for extension depending on season plans)
- Crew: 6-7 crew onboard
Responsibilities
- Preparing 2 meals per day for crew
- Providing healthy, balanced, and varied menus
- Provisioning and managing galley inventory
- Maintaining cleanliness and organization of the galley
- Working efficiently in a shipyard environment . No yard work interferes with the galley .
Requirements
- Previous yacht or professional galley experience
- Ability to cook simple, nutritious crew food
- Organized with good provisioning and budgeting skills
- Positive attitude and easy to work with in a small crew environment
- Food hygiene certification preferred
- Non smoker
- No visible tattoos.
