Summary
An exceptional opportunity has arisen onboard for a Chief Officer to join a prestigious 100m private motor yacht with a busy, world-cruising programme.
Although privately owned, the yacht operates to an extremely high standard hosting frequent owner and guest trips.
The programme is busy with frequent boss trips and regular ocean crossings when guests are not onboard.
The Programme
- Heavy guest activity focus: watersports, diving, fishing and excursions
- Expedition-style cruising to remote and beautiful locations
- Large tender inventory and multiple chase boats
- Kongsberg bridge system & Furuno ECDIS
This is a vessel that prioritises guest experience and seamless operations above all else.
The Role
This is a hands-on, operational Chief Officer position best suited to someone who thrives in a busy, guest-focused environment.
During guest trips:
- The Chief Officer is highly guest-facing
- You will oversee deck operations, watersports, diving programmes, tender logistics, chase boat management and bridge operations
- Lead guest excursions and conduct area reconnaissance
- Coordinate large team operations on deck
This role requires strong leadership, composure under pressure and exceptional organisational skills.
The Ideal Candidate
- Large yacht experience is essential - 80m+
- Experience as a Chief Officer - They are not looking for someone stepping up
- Proven ability to manage large teams and busy guest programmes
- Personable, professional and calm under pressure
- Additional skills are welcomed - Diving, watersports etc
- Must hold Chief Mate Unlimited (CM Unlimited)
- Master Unlimited highly desirable
- B1/B2 visa in hand and Schengen visa (if required)

Salary: Generous DOE USD
