2nd Officer

Summary

• 90m Dual season Private motor yacht are seeking a 2^nd officer to join them no later than 19^th March ready for a hand over

• Ideally looking for an OOW 3000 holder with 1+ seasons experience in an officer capacity onboard yachts – open to newly qualified OOW for the right candidate

• Busy summer coming up with cruising in Sardinia, Mallorca, France and Italy. The yacht will move around a fair bit, and you’ll be responsible for evening/night watches, overseeing passage planning and chart corrections as well as helping out on deck where required

• Must be a good tender driver – 2^nd officer will be one of the go-to tender drivers for guests and comfortable in tenders up to 44ft would be preferred as they run with a chase boat as well

• This is a great opportunity for someone looking to grow as an officer, build experience in all areas and working closely with a solid senior bridge team

• Good deck team, active crew and a good mix onboard offering a nice working environment and lots of exposure to busy operations

• On offer is a salary of 6k Euros DOE, 12 weeks on 6 weeks off, discretionary bonuses, training budget after 1 year onboard

Essential Qualifications

Master/Skipper Qualifications (or Merchant, USCG & AMSA equivalent)
