43M SOLE CHEF WITH 2:2 ROTATION
We are currently seeking a professional, experienced Chef to join a 43m private/charter motor yacht in a sole chef position, operating on a 2:2 rotational contract. The vessel runs with a crew of 11 and accommodates up to 11 guests, so confidence in managing varied preferences and delivering consistently high standards in both private and charter settings is essential. The summer season will be spent cruising the Western Mediterranean, while the winter will be based in Cyprus, with boss trips taking place throughout the year.
This role is suited to a well-rounded chef with strong restaurant experience and a proven background on similar-sized yachts. The ideal candidate is down-to-earth, calm under pressure, highly organised, and genuinely passionate about their craft, with a focus on fresh, local and seasonal ingredients. Creativity, attention to detail, and the ability to produce refined yet approachable cuisine across a range of styles are key.
We are looking for someone seeking longevity — our previous chef has been with us for three successful years, and we value commitment and a positive onboard presence. The chef must be a strong communicator, comfortable provisioning in varied locations, capable of managing budgets, maintaining impeccable galley standards, and adhering to all safety and hygiene regulations. A calm, adaptable nature and a proactive approach to guest satisfaction are crucial.
