Summary
We are seeking a disciplined and highly organized Temporary Chef to join a premier 62m private vessel for a crucial pre-season period. This role is primarily focused on the operational transition of the galley, ensuring the yacht is prepared to the highest standards for the upcoming summer season.
The contract runs from March 16th through May 4th.
This is a high-impact temporary role designed to bridge the gap between winter work and the start of the Mediterranean season. The focus is on operational readiness rather than heavy guest service, though flexibility is paramount.

- Operational Readiness: Managing the galley during the vessel’s crossing and through rigorous audit periods.
- Provisions & Detailing: Overseeing the stocking, inventory, and meticulous preparation of all galley areas in anticipation of the Travel Chef’s arrival.
- Crew Catering: Providing high-quality, nutritious meals for a professional crew of 18 during transit and maintenance periods.
- Service Support: Toward the end of April, an owner’s trip may occur. During this period, you will be required to assist the Travel Chef in a "sous chef" capacity, ensuring seamless culinary delivery for the Principals and their guests.
Candidate Profile
- Experience: Proven experience as a Chef on similar-sized yachts or within high-end estates.
- Attributes: A self-starter who takes pride in organisational systems and maintaining a clinical level of galley hygiene.
- Flexibility: The ability to pivot from solo galley management to a supportive role under the Travel Chef during owner trips.
- Requirements: Due to specific cabin arrangements on board, this position is open to male candidates only.
Package & Terms
- Duration: March 16th – May 4th, 2026.
- Salary: Competitive and commensurate with experience (DOE).
