Summary

We are seeking an impeccably presented and highly experienced Travel Butler to join the interior department of a prestigious 60m+ private vessel for the upcoming 2026 Mediterranean season. This is a seasonal appointment, running from March 16th through mid-October.

This role is tailored for a service professional who thrives in a high-pressure, UHNW environment, providing seamless, intuitive support to a prominent British family across a refined Mediterranean itinerary.

The Private Program

  • The Principals: A well-known UHNW family who appreciate a traditional yet personable service style. The yacht operates as a private residence at sea, where discretion and a "calm under fire" mentality are paramount.
  • The Itinerary: An elegant single-season tour of the Mediterranean, including, Capri, Portofino, the Amalfi Coast, and the Greek Isles.
  • The Team: You will work within a sophisticated interior structure, collaborating closely with the Chief Stewardess and a second Travel Butler to deliver world-class service to up to 12 guests.

The Role & Butler-Specific Duties

The successful candidate will be the primary point of contact for guest requirements, ensuring that every detail of the onboard experience is executed with precision.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Elite Service: Taking full ownership of formal and informal service, anticipating guest needs before they are articulated.
  • Cellar Management: Expert oversight of the onboard wine collection; advanced knowledge of vintages, decanting, and wine pairing is a core requirement.
  • Inventory & Procurement: Managing high-end provisions, service inventories, and the meticulous stocking of guest pantries and bars.
  • Principal Liaison: Responding to owner requests with absolute promptness and composure, maintaining a "nothing is too much trouble" philosophy.
  • Versatility: While service is the priority, a true "team first" attitude is required to assist with broader interior duties and support other departments during busy periods.

Candidate Profile

  • Experience: Significant experience as a Butler or Service-focused Lead Steward within the superyacht industry or a high-ranking private estate.
  • Demeanor: Confident, proactive, and capable of maintaining a quiet, professional presence in a high-stakes environment.
  • Skills: A master of detailing and presentation with a deep understanding of UHNW expectations.
  • Availability: Commitment to the full season (March 16th – mid-October) is essential.

Remuneration & Benefits

  • Salary: Competitive and commensurate with experience (DOE)
  • Travel: All flights to/from the vessel for guest trips are fully covered.
