Summary
We are currently seeking an experienced and highly motivated 2nd Stewardess / Head of Housekeeping to join a prestigious 60m + private vessel. This is an exceptional opportunity for a candidate who balances meticulous housekeeping standards with a confident, professional service etiquette.
The vessel is based in Italy, and operates a single-season Mediterranean itinerary, encompassing premier destinations including Capri, Portofino, Sardinia, the South of France, Greece, and Turkey.
Vessel Overview & Culture
- The Program: Exclusively private, utilised for 2–3 months during the summer season by the owners, their family, and guests.
- The Crew: A cohesive, "drama-free" team of 18, predominantly English-speaking, fostering a stable and supportive "family-style" environment.
The Role & Responsibilities
Reporting to the Interior Manager, the successful candidate will lead the housekeeping department and oversee a team consisting of a 3rd Stewardess, Junior Stewardess, and Laundry Master.
Key areas of responsibility include:
- Leadership & Mentorship: Direct supervision and training of the junior interior team to ensure consistent excellence.
- Housekeeping Management: Full accountability for the presentation of 7 guest cabins and all interior guest areas.
- Operational Logistics: Oversight of luggage management (in coordination with travel staff), inventory control, and the preparation of detailed worklists.
- Service Support: Providing high-level support to the Head of Service, including formal table settings and guest service scenarios when required.

- Strong organisational skills and the ability to coordinate effectively with the team.
Remuneration & Benefits
