Rotational 2nd Engineer – 62m Private/Charter Yacht | Australia
HMG is seeking an experienced Rotational 2nd Engineer to join a 62m private/charter yacht.
This role offers an 8 weeks on / 8 weeks off rotation, a single cabin, and a salary of USD 7,500 per month. The yacht operates to a high standard and is looking for a reliable, long-term team member.
We are seeking a hands-on, professional 2nd Engineer with proven yacht experience who can integrate well into an established engineering department. Candidates must demonstrate a minimum of one year’s sea time on yachts, with preference given to those from commercial or trade backgrounds. This is a hands-on role requiring flexibility to adapt to changing works schedules and a commitment to completing tasks to a high standard.
Minimum Requirements & Preferences:
* EOOW Unlimited (or equivalent)
* Minimum 1 year’s sea time on a yacht
* Commercial or trade background preferred
* B1/B2 visa ideally held
* Full driver’s licence required (candidates must be 25+ for rental purposes)
* Excellent references and proven longevity (no yacht/job hoppers)
The position will join in Australia in mid-April, subject to visa acceptance. The yacht will take care of the required visa for Australia.
