Summary
An experienced and proactive rotational Tender Engineer is required to join a prestigious 100m+ motor yacht currently planning to cruise the Med this summer with further afield cruising later in the year. The successful candidate will be responsible for the maintenance, operation and readiness of all small craft and marine equipment, including tenders, jet-powered watercraft, and related propulsion systems, while also assisting the wider engineering team with general technical duties. The successful candidate need not hold a maritime CoC but any engineering ticket will be very well received. Importantly, candidates with significant small craft experience will be preferred. This is a rotational position but the start date is Mid-March 2026. Timing can be discussed for the right candidate.
Job Specification
- Valid STCW '10 Certificates
- Valid ENG1 Medical with no restrictions
- Proficiency in Designated Security Duties (PDSD)
- Minimum 2+ Years in similar role and rank experience
- Motorman/ EOOW / MEOL certification is advantageous
- Strong set of skills and knowledge of all engineering and hotel equipment welcomed
- Must be able to drive and operate small scraft
- Good health and good sobriety
- Must speak fluent English
- Must have good written references and contact details must be provided
