We are seeking an experienced and highly capable Captain to take command of a 55m new-build yacht operating on a dual-season private and charter program.
This is a standout opportunity for a true leader who is organised, composed, and confident. Someone who leads with authority and emotional intelligence. The right candidate will be comfortable managing a multinational crew, navigating shipyard and project phases, and communicating clearly and respectfully with ownership.
This role requires a Captain who can balance operational excellence with approachability: decisive without being overbearing, professional without ego, and service-minded without being a “yes-man.”
The Ideal Candidate
- Proven Captain experience on similar-sized vessels
- Strong background in new-build delivery, shipyard periods, and project management
- Highly organised with excellent systems, documentation, and follow-through
- Natural leader who builds trust, accountability, and cohesion within a multinational crew
- Calm, athletic, and hands-on with a strong personal standard
- Confident communicator who can manage owner relationships with tact, clarity, and professionalism
- Charter-aware while maintaining a strong private-yacht mindset
Required Certification
- Master 3000 GT CoC
