Summary
Burgess Recruitment is looking for a Charter Chef for a 40m Charter Yacht
Qualifications:
• Valid STCW certification
• Valid ENG1 medical
• Proven experience as a yacht Chef on charter yachts
• Experience on commercially operated yachts
Requirements:
• Strong Mediterranean charter Chef with excellent plating and presentation
• Confident cooking with fresh, local West Mediterranean ingredients
• Strong focus on Mediterranean cuisine with modern, lighter menus
• Experience catering to charter clients and varied dietary preferences
• Able to deliver high-end charter food under pressure
• Organised, clean, and efficient in a busy charter galley
Other:
• The yacht will transit from Saudi Arabia to the Mediterranean for the summer charter season
• Charters are already confirmed
Start Date: Mid-May 2026 – End of September
Contract: Temporary – Mediterranean charter season
Salary: DOE
