Summary
Burgess Recruitment is currently seeking a Chief Steward(ess) to join a 50m+ Private/Charter motor yacht
This position would suit an organised, service-driven Chief Steward(ess) who thrives in a dynamic guest environment and enjoys working within a busy, high-energy private/charter operation.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5+ years’ experience in the yachting industry
- Previous experience as Chief Steward(ess) preferred
- Purser course desirable
- Valid B1/B2 visa
- Fluent English required
Owners use the vessel for extended periods of up to one month at a time, with regular guest turnover and a party atmosphere onboard. There are currently 15 crew onboard, with a total complement of 21 including rotational crew.
Salary: EUR 5,750–6,250 depending on experience.
Leave: 2:2 (8 weeks on / 8 weeks off)
Join: In Europe
Start date is planned for late February / early March.
Itinerary: Dual season. Caribbean before returning to the Mediterranean
