Assistant Engineer – Private 49m M/Y
We are currently looking for a motivated Assistant Engineer to join a well-maintained 49m private motor yacht, operating under a professional and stable program. This is a permanent position, offering long-term prospects for the right candidate and an excellent opportunity to grow within a solid engineering team.
Start date: ASAP
Itinerary: Italy (Mediterranean-based)
Package: Salary paid in Euros, DOE | 60 days paid leave
Experience / Skills required:
- Minimum MEOL certificate
- Previous experience as an Assistant Engineer on yachts of similar size
- Good mechanical and electrical knowledge with a hands-on approach
- Ability to assist with planned maintenance and daily engine room operations
- Team-oriented, reliable, and proactive attitude
- Comfortable working in a private yacht environment with high standards
Qualifications required:
- MEOL certificate (minimum)
- STCW (fully updated)
- Seafarer’s Medical Certificate
- Seaman’s Discharge Book (preferred)
