Summary

Hill Maritime Group (HMG) is recruiting for an experienced Y3 Engineer to join a highly reputable 45m heavy charter motor yacht.

Y3 Engineer – 45m Heavy Charter Motor Yacht

Rotation: 2:2

Start Date: 1 April

Salary: Approx. $400 USD per day + charter tips (TBD) Paid while on board

Contract: Standard MLC

Accommodation: Shared Cabin

This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established program. The outgoing Chief Engineer is transitioning shoreside after 5 successful years onboard; the remaining Chief has been onboard for the past 2 years.

Requirements:

• Y3 Engineering certification (or higher)
• B1B2 Visa or USA citizen/Green Card
• Excellent longevity in previous roles
• Strong, verifiable references
• Strong hands-on engineering ability
• Energetic, active, and guest-focused personality
• Willingness to assist other departments when required during charter operations

The Role:

The vessel operates a busy and successful charter schedule and maintains a strong reputation within the industry. The ideal candidate will be hands-on, team-oriented, and capable of maintaining high operational and presentation standards expected on a heavy charter yacht.

Essential Qualifications

Entry Level Qualifications (or equivalent)

• STCW 95 (STCW 2010)
• ENG 1 (Medical Certificate)

Engineering Qualifications (or Merchant, USCG & AMSA equivalent)

• RIII/3 Y3 Chief Engineer (<500gt <3000kW)/ Chief Engineer (SV) (<500gt 3000kW)
