Summary
A stunning, newly built private 36m motor yacht (owners’ yacht) is seeking a mature, highly trustworthy, and motivated Cook / Stewardess to join a small, close-knit interior team. This is a dual role position, working alongside one other Stewardess, with duties split approximately 60% Interior / 40% Light Cooking & Meal Preparation. We are specifically looking for a responsible, discreet, drama-free individual of trust, suited to the standards and expectations of a private owners’ yacht.
The ideal candidate has a minimum of 2 years’ experience on 30m+ yachts, is well-organized, self-motivated, calm under pressure, and able to adapt smoothly to a dual role. She is a true team player with a strong work ethic, excellent attention to detail, and solid knowledge of all aspects of interior service, while also being confident and hands-on in the galley.
A genuine passion for fresh, healthy Mediterranean-style cooking is essential. The role includes preparing:
Daily lunch and dinner for 5 crew
Breakfast for 2–6 adult guests and 3–4 children
Meals should focus on fresh ingredients, high-protein options, smaller portions, and elegant presentation. Strong time management, good planning, and the ability to work independently in a small, professional environment are key.
This position is ideal for a mature, reliable Stewardess/Cook who takes pride in her work, understands discretion, and is looking for a long-term, stable role on a private yacht.
Start:February 2026 • Seasonal position until October 31st, 2026 (Potential to turn permanent)
Package: Salary paid in Euros - DOE, Maltese contract
Responsibilities:
- Prepare fresh, light Mediterranean dishes (salads, seafood, bowls, grilled veg)
- Breakfast, lunch & dinner for the guests; lunch & dinner for the crew
- Willing to give a hand in housekeeping and laundry when necessary
- Table service, provisioning & galley organization
- Light deck support during maneuvers
Requirements:
- Stew or Stew/Cook experience on 20–40m yachts
- Confident cooking healthy, clean, Mediterranean food
- Warm, calm, guest-focused personality
- STCW (Fully Updated) with PDSD
- Seafarer's Medical Certificate (ENG1 or equivalent) valid for a minimum of six months
- Food Safety & Hygiene L3
- Seaman's discharge book
- Valid Passport
- Fluent in English
- Female due to cabin arrangements
