Summary
A temporary Second Officer (Chief Mate Unlimited) is required for a prestigious 100m+ motor yacht. The successful candidate will be a competent and safety-focused officer with solid experience on large yachts, confident in bridge watchkeeping, navigation, and passage planning, and able to integrate seamlessly into an established bridge team. Strong COLREGS knowledge, ECDIS proficiency, and a proactive, professional attitude are essential. This is an excellent short-term opportunity on a well-run vessel operating to the highest standards.
The role starts 15 February 2026 for a minimum 1-2-month period.
Job Specification
- Valid STCW '10 Certificates
- Valid ENG1 Medical with no restrictions
- Proficiency in Designated Security Duties (PDSD)
- Minimum 2+ Years in similar role experience onboard 80m+ vessel
- COC - Chief Mate Unlimited
- Excellent leadership skills and professionalism
- Good health and good sobriety
- Must speak fluent English
- Must have good written references and contact details must be provided
- No visible tattoos and no smokers
- Male candidates only
