The Laundry Stewardess works under the direction of the Chief Stewardess and Head Housekeeper and is responsible for the safe, efficient operation of the laundry onboard.
The ideal candidate is organised, detail-oriented, and maintains high standards of cleanliness, garment care, and personal presentation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the safe operation of the laundry, including correct use of chemicals and equipment
- Maintain laundry inventory, stock control, and ensure machines and work areas are kept in pristine condition
- Confident in the care, laundering, and presentation of guest garments, including delicate and high-value items
- Assist with interior and crew area duties as required
- Use only approved products and methods as directed
- Familiar with using laundry board to log clothes
This role requires strong attention to detail, flexibility, and the ability to work efficiently in a team-focused, high-standard environment.
